"It’s important to spread the word of God because look at everything He’s done for us. The least we could do for Him is tell people about how amazing He is. It’s not that hard to do when you’ve got an amazing youth group backing you up," states Becky Kern, a youth leader at Life Ministry of St. James The Less in Highland, Indiana. And she’s not the only one getting "high on her faith".

The purpose of Life Ministry is to spread the Word of God, and show the world on how you can become informed without sitting down and reading the Bible page per page for hours.

“We do some pretty fun activities,” smiles Stephanie Kozubal, another Youth Leader of Life Ministry, “I can’t even recall a time when I went to youth group and didn’t end up having a fun time. Our group is open to anyone that is interested in coming. That is so awesome.”

A couple of recent activities the group has taken part in are:

• Relationships with our parents
• Relationships with our friends
• Relationship with God
• The Newly-Friends Game (a spoof on the Newlywed Game)-we did this to help us learn about the importance of friendships.
• Improv sketches-Just for Fun
• Guess Where You Are (participants perform a scenario presented to them and the audience must guess where they currently are and what they are doing)-Just for Fun
• “The Evil Swamp Of Doom” (participants must go across a “swamp” on nothing but two thin pieces of computer paper, the entire group reaching the other side in less than fifteen minutes by pairs), this helped us realize how we need each other
• and many other enjoyable activities.

“I joined youth group because it sounded like fun and I wanted to meet new people,” claims Katie Cahill, a proud Life Ministry member.
